I have a Dell Computer and on my keyboard is locked, how do I unlock it?

I tried a whole bunch of stuff, that little green light is on on the keyboard saying it’s locked and I don’t know how to unlock it. I can’t use my keyboard at all, I’m on my dad’s computer currently typing this question. Please help!

Is the keyboard usb or ps2? If its usb then try another port. If its ps2(Green) then power down the pc by holding in the power button for 8 to 10 seconds. Pull the plug and make sure no pins are bent. Plug it back in and boot back up. This should fix the problem if its ps2.
